I am a second-year medical student with a strong academic background in the sciences and a passion for helping others learn. I was drawn to tutoring because I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and supporting students in building both knowledge and confidence. Having recently completed my A-levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and can offer relatable guidance and strategies for success.
I have previous experience tutoring students during sixth form, where I supported peers and younger students in subjects such as Maths and Chemistry. Through this, I have developed the ability to explain challenging material in a clear and accessible way. As a medical student, I continue to apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills daily, which strengthens my ability to guide students through exam preparation, revision techniques, and understanding difficult topics.
My approach is flexible and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I begin by identifying areas of strength and weakness, then adapt lessons to suit the student’s learning style - this includes using step-by-step explanations, practice questions and interactive discussion. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as these are key to growth. My goal is not only to help students achieve their target grades but also to build their confidence and enjoyment in the subject.
