I’m a Graduate Entry Medicine student at St George’s, University of London, with a BSc in Microbiology and a background in tutoring across all school levels. I’ve worked both in-classroom and online, teaching core subjects and supporting entrance exam preparation. I love working with students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them grow in confidence and achieve their academic goals—whether they’re tackling 11+ reasoning or preparing for medical school interviews.
I’ve taught Maths and English in schools for Years 4–7, and have over four years of private online tutoring experience in English, Maths, and Science at secondary, GCSE, and A-Level levels. I’ve supported students preparing for 11+ and 13+ entrance exams, as well as university admissions—including UCAT, GAMSAT, and medical school interview preparation. Many of my students have successfully gained places at top schools and universities.
I tailor every session to the student’s goals, learning style, and subject needs, aiming to create a structured yet supportive environment that builds confidence and long-term academic success. I strongly believe that students thrive when they feel heard and understood—so I regularly invite feedback on how they prefer to learn, adapt my style accordingly, and co-create learning plans that suit them best.
My lessons are fully personalised, often centred around specific topics the student finds most challenging. I design custom handouts and walkthroughs for each session, use past paper questions specific to their exam board, and ensure every lesson includes targeted practice to strengthen exam technique and question interpretation.
I also set optional but personalised homework when helpful—focusing on consolidation, tricky topics, or stretch material depending on the student's pace and preferences. We work together to track progress, review errors, and turn mistakes into learning opportunities.
Beyond content mastery, I focus on developing resilience, confidence, and exam strategy—especially important for students preparing for high-stakes assessments like GCSEs, A-Levels, UCAT, or entrance exams. My aim is to make every student feel equipped, empowered, and in control of their learning journey.
