Hi, my name is Lisa Removedand I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with a passion for helping children grow in confidence and reach their full potential. I trained in Ireland, where I earned a degree in Education and Psychology, and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings across Ireland, Australia, and England. I love building strong, supportive relationships with students and tailoring learning to suit their individual needs and interests.
With over four years of teaching experience, I’ve worked across a wide range of roles including mainstream classroom teaching, special education, and supply teaching. I’ve taught children aged 5 to 11 and delivered the full primary curriculum. I’ve also worked as a Maths and English tutor with a well-established tutoring company, supporting students both one-on-one and in small groups. My experience across different education systems and classroom environments has helped me develop a flexible, inclusive, and child-centered teaching style.
My approach is calm, patient, and encouraging. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and motivated. I aim to create engaging lessons that are tailored to each child's learning style and pace. Whether your child needs support catching up, building confidence, or stretching themselves further, I focus on making learning enjoyable and achievable. I use a mix of practical strategies, positive reinforcement, and structured routines to help every learner succeed.
