Helping our son nail some concepts in his GCSE maths. Now his dyslexia is not a barrier, Greg worked out how to help within his first session. Our son is keen to continue which is testament to Greg’s support.

I approached Greg to assist my son with both his maths and physics GCSEs. At the time my son's target grades were an 8, but with lock-down learning his grades were wavering.
He found Greg's style very engaging and his highly organised use of technology meant they covered a lot during the sessions, not just learning but also exam techniques.
My son is delighted as he went on to achieve a 9 in both subjects.

For several months, Greg was supporting my daughter with her Further Maths GCSE, as well as giving her a brief introduction to a range of topics in Philosophy. We found his tuition to be very helpful and engaging. The sessions were always well-planned, and communication was excellent. My daughter enjoyed all of her sessions and would always look forward to her next class. I would especially emphasize Greg's ability to explain complex topics in a very clear and compelling way; it is certainly one of his biggest strength. Returning to maths, (GCSE) after a 35 year gap was extremely daunting. I was, quite frankly, terrified, but Greg immediately put me at ease; he is a fantastic teacher and thoroughly deserves his five star recommendations.

I approached Greg for Maths tuition as it had been over 20 years since I took my Maths GCSE and my Maths was very rusty. In particular I had difficulty with rearranging formulae which is a critical component to the commercial pilots licence that I am currently studying for. Greg was happy to tailor each lesson to my needs and learning style and he taught me methods that I found much more effective than those that I learnt at high school. I am now in a position where I am able to complete the Maths elements of my pilots course with much more confidence using the techniques that Greg has taught me. I would highly recommend Greg as a Maths tutor and I certainly would not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

Greg tutored my daughter in physics for her 2018 GCSEs. Greg is polite, professional, extremely knowledgeable on the GCSE physics curriculum and expert in strategising for the examination process. His particular strength (for my daughter at least) was in explaining complex ideas using simple examples. I believe that Greg enabled my daughter to achieve a higher grade than she would have done without his tutoring. I would recommend him unreservedly.

Gregory is an excellent teacher who was a great help for our daughter's maths tuition in GCSE but unfortunately did not get him for her A level preparations this year.

I began searching for a tutor to help with the QTS numeracy test for many reasons; I hadn't sat any form of maths exam in ten years; I failed all practice tests that I attempted; and I had no confidence whatsoever in my mathematical ability. Greg was an amazing help. Always prompt, professional and personable. He managed to teach me tricks to answer questions quickly, and to be certain the answer was correct. After rescheduling the test three times due to fear, when I actually sat it, I passed first time. I would never have been able to do that without Greg. He is wonderful and I can't recommend him enough.

My son is in year 12 studying A level Mathematics. He requested to have a private tutor to go over certain subjects learnt at school to improve his understanding and confidence. Greg has been excellent and my son is absolutely delighted to have discovered Greg. Greg knows his subject thoroughly and goes beyond your own knowledge when teaching which allows you an improved and adaptable understanding. Greg has delivered eight superb GCSE Physics sessions to our daughter, who is aiming for an A grade at GCSE but who has had to endure "sub-optimal" teaching at her school. I needed a tutor to help me with my Professional skills test for Numeracy, in order to become a teacher. I had four sessions with Greg and passed. Before we started the tutoring, Greg asked me which areas I was struggling with and set out a plan of what we would cover in each session. He always arrived to the house really prepared. I have always struggled with Maths but Greg explained things clearly and in a language that I could easily understand.
