I am a perfectionist by nature. I achieved straight A*s at GCSE (including top five marks in the country for English Literature and 100% in my Mathematics’ final exam). I constantly strive to obtain the best possible grades from students and, more importantly, help them to believe in themselves. I have also had experience within a school on several accounts, one of which is in an S.E.N. department which looks after students with special educational needs. I am a very gentle mannered person and experienced helping those with learning difficulties as well as those who are more academically able.

Tutoring Experience

After 11 years in various roles at a Top Tier Investment Bank I am expanding my remit and looking to rekindle my Tutoring. Prior to my time in Banking, I previously worked at Trinity School in Brentwood as a Graphic Communications A Ievel teacher which is a subject I would describe as a cross between Media and Fine Art. I have got a wealth of experience working as a Mathematics, Science, English and Art and Design tutor for many children from a wide range of backgrounds and capabilities. Whilst some of them have had learning difficulties, others have been more at the genius end of the spectrum. I have also had work experience working in the S.E.N. department at Trinity Catholic High School in Woodford green. There I assisted a range of children, not just those with special educational needs, but some that were much more academically able. I worked one to one with children that needed extra care, and also as a class assistant in several maths classes. From this initial experience I was introduced to my current occupation as a tutor and have gained numerous jobs via recommendation, all of which have been a great success, improving the child's academics and confidence tremendously. I have recently recently returned to Trinity to undertake work experience as an Art teacher, and am now looking into setting up art lessons at a discounted rate with small groups of children. This can be geared particularly at GCSE or A level students on demand, and is not restricted to Fine Art, but all areas of art and design such as textiles, photography and critical art (a more history based course). Tutoring Approach

My approach is that every child should be given an equal opportunity to shine no matter what their background or circumstance. I believe that having a learning difficulty or any kind of impairment does not need to hinder them. I have a unique method of teaching which can help improve any child's chance of success and has done with many of my students in the past.
