I have the following after-school sessions available for either weekly or fortnightly lessons:
Tuesdays 4:15 - 5:15pm (or 4:30-5:30pm)
Thursdays 4:15 - 5:15pm

I am based in East Yorkshire, but am available for online tuition nationally.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified and experienced mathematics teacher in East Yorkshire, currently teaching part-time in an “outstanding” comprehensive school and sixth form.

Alongside classroom teaching, I have been a private tutor for over 20 years. Since 2020, I have adapted my private tuition to be predominantly online, after being employed by the government funded National Tutoring Programme (2020-2024).

I am an exam marker for two major exam boards for both foundation and higher GCSE plus A level maths.

Tutoring Approach

Friendly and approachable. Building confidence will lead to success.

Lessons are fully planned for the individual needs of the student. With my many years of teaching and tutoring experience, I can adapt and vary the approach to suit the student.

Lessons can be completed in person at the student’s home or online using an specialised web based tutoring platform, with all sessions available for parental access either during or after the session.

I have enhanced DBS.

Availability:
Monday-Thursday between 3:30-6pm, increased availability during school holidays.

I also have some availablity for tuition during the school day for home schooling, but this will have to work around my school teaching timetable.

I do not offer weekend tuition.
