I live in Rickmansworth and have a true passion for teaching, especially supporting children as they build confidence and enjoy learning. I also love the outdoors, which inspires my approach to making learning engaging and fun. As a parent of three children who have recently completed GCSEs, A levels, and university, I understand firsthand how confidence underpins learning and the importance of encouragement at every stage
With 4 years’ classroom experience and a full DBS check, I have supported children across the full primary age range in both small groups and one-to-one. I work closely with teachers and understand the curriculum, assessment expectations, and a wide range of teaching approaches. This experience has shown me how every child learns differently, and how the right style of support can make all the difference.
I specialise in helping children who may lack confidence in maths, phonics, reading, and comprehension, as well as those preparing for Year 6 SATs. My lessons are patient, encouraging, and tailored to the individual child. By focusing on confidence first, I aim to reduce anxiety, make learning more enjoyable, and give children the tools they need to reach their potential.
