I love teaching because there's nothing more rewarding than seeing a child achieve something new. I enjoy being creative in my approach and always look for fun, engaging ways to help children learn. As someone who loves reading, I especially enjoy teaching reading and writing, and helping children develop a real enjoyment for literacy. My goal is to make learning a positive, encouraging experience where every child feels proud of their progress.
I have over five years of experience working within primary school settings, supporting children from Reception through to Key Stage 2. For the past two years, I have worked as a classroom teacher in KS2, where I’ve gained in-depth experience delivering the national curriculum and supporting children across a range of abilities. Prior to that, I worked in various roles supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This has given me a strong understanding of the full primary journey, from early phonics and play-based learning to more structured literacy and numeracy skills. I am confident teaching across all primary key stages and experienced in adapting my approach to suit the individual needs of each child.
My approach is calm, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs, making sure they feel supported, motivated and most importantly, enjoy their learning.
