I am a Senior English teacher at a leading UK independent school with over 11 years of teaching and tutoring experience across GCSE, IGCSE, IB and school entrance exams (11+/13+). My students consistently achieve top grades: 7–9 at GCSE and 6–7 at IB and I have successfully prepared candidates for entry to elite independent schools including Eton and Sevenoaks, as well as guided students through Oxbridge and Ivy League admissions.
Alongside my classroom role, I am a Senior IB Examiner and Workshop Leader, which means I know exactly how examiners assess work and I train students to think with the same precision. I previously served as Head of English at one of Hong Kong’s most selective schools, ranked #1 globally for IB results, and have extensive experience teaching high-achieving international students.
Originally a lawyer, I transitioned to education to specialise in helping ambitious students excel at the highest level. My approach is rigorous, results-focused and tailored for families seeking outstanding outcomes in competitive academic environments.
