Personal Description:
Did dhaoibh, I am from Co. Clare originally and completed my undergrad BA in Irish and Geography in NUI Galway, then my postgrad with Hibernia College.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been teaching both Irish and Geography to Junior and Senior Cycles since 2013 and have been providing tuition concurrent to this.
I teach in the Conamara Gaeltacht each summer.
I have also provided tuition to students who are preparing for Irish Language entry exams for Primary Teaching and the TEG exams.
Approach to Grinds:
Grinds are provided on the basis of what the student feels works best for them. However with regards Irish I try to incorporate all strands of learning a language into each session (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Notes on all topics covered are provided (in either subject) in the form of either hard or electronic copies (both if preferable) and can take the form of PowerPoints, essays, summaries, keywords/vocab on specific topics etc.
