Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Ciara, and I am a secondary school teacher based in Navan, Co. Meath. I have been teaching for seven years and have experience working with students of all abilities and backgrounds. My approach to grinds is always tailored to the individual student, adapting to their preferred learning style to ensure they get the most from each session.

I teach History, Politics and Maths.
In History, I teach all year groups and levels, with particular expertise in guiding senior students through the RSR, helping them approach this key part of the course with confidence and clarity

I provide tailored support in Politics and Society, helping students develop the critical thinking and analytical skills needed to engage with contemporary issues in Irish and global politics. My approach focuses on exam technique, structured essay writing, and a strong understanding of key course concepts to maximise results.

In Maths, I teach both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Applied, supporting students at all levels to build understanding and achieve their best results.

Tutoring Experience:

I qualified in 2018 and have been teaching in my current school since then, becoming a permanent member of staff in 2021.
